ARBOR CREEK AND CREEK VALLEY 

The Arbor Creek and Creek Valley Middle School Orchestras are directed by Nancy Heffernan.  Orchestra instruction begins in the 6th grade and students master the fundamentals of the instruments.  The orchestras participate in school concerts, UIL competition, Sandy Lake music festival, and annual visit to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

KILLIAN MIDDLE SCHOOL

Matt Cautivar  joined Killian Middle School in 2012 as the orchestra director, and plans to continue the proud orchestra tradition since the school’s opening in 2007.  Students can participate in Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced performing ensembles.  The KMS Orchestra has consistently earned Division I ratings at the UIL, Peak, and Sandy Lake festivals.  At over 100 members, KMS Orchestra students have made room 1610 the place to be!
