Christmas Musical and Gift Galleria
The holiday season begins this week at Hebron High School!
Are you dreaming of a White Christmas? Well, on the Hebron High School stage your dreams REALLY can come true as Hebron’s very own students present an acting, singing, and tap-dancing musical production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. On December 5th and 6th at 7, December 7th at 8, and December 8th at 2, you can see all of the Fine Arts programs work together to bring the magic of the holiday season to life! Student tickets are $10, Adult tickets are $15, and Reserved tickets are $20. Come start your holiday season with a musical that celebrates life, love, and servicemen and women.

On Saturday, December 7th, the Silver Wings will have a holiday shopping event “GIFT GALLERIA” here at Hebron High School. Ensembles from the Hebron Orchestra will provide special music for your shopping entertainment. Gift Galleria will last from 9am to 5pm. http://www.hebronsilverwings.org/?page_id=927

Fall Concert and Silent Auction October 10
Hebron Orchestra Fall Concert and Silent Auction will be held on Thursday October 10 at 7:00 pm. Admission is free for the concert.
Parking Instructions: Park in the Charles Street Parking Lot and enter Hebron HS by the tennis courts/cafeteria entrance.
Student Attire: Formal concertwear. See “Hebron How to” about wearing the uniform properly.
Itinerary:
5:30 pm High School parents: Silent Auction Items dropped off in the auditorium foyer.
6:00 pm Guest 8th grade students rehearsal onstage with Hebron Chamber Orchestra.
6:00 pm Silent Auction opens: bidding begins
6:30 pm Hebron Symphonic Orchestra and Concert Orchestra tuning and warmup
7:00 pm Fall Concert Begins
8:00 pm SILENT AUCTION ENDS. Winners check out with Booster Treasurer in foyer.

Found sound workshop with percussionist Mark Shelton
4th Grade Violins
Just for 4th Graders… learn to play the violin!
Beginner violin class will teach you all of the basics. Monthly fee is $75 for small group lessons. $50 registration fee includes child’s t-shirt and Smartmusic practice app for iPad and PC/Mac. Classes meet on Monday nights at Hebron High School.
Students will learn the following:
- Parts of the violin
- Caring for the violin
- Body position
- Holding the bow
- Fingerboard chart
- Names of notes
- Violin Staff
- Violin glossary
- Measures, repeats
- Rhythm
- Read, write, say and play
- American fiddle tunes
- Classical composers
- AND MUCH MORE!
Instruction will begin on Monday September 23rd. Parents will need to provide 1/2 size or 3/4 size violin. Senior Pinning 2013
Members of Chamber Orchestra played for the traditional Senior Pinning Ceremony. Graduating seniors select a mentor to participate in the ceremony. The adult mentor presents the student with a pin embossed with the school crest.
Hebron HS Orchestra
