Hebron Silver excels at National Orchestra Festival, Salt Lake City

We are proud to announce the Hebron Silver Orchestra gave an outstanding performance at Abravenal Hall in Salt Lake City, on Friday March 20, 2015.  The concert was attended by other school groups, ASTA convention attendees, our chaperones and guest family members. One ASTA Lifetime member remarked that “the students played as if they were telling the story of the music”. A representative from the Mark O’Connor organization gave us a shout out on Twitter, for our awesome performance of “Stepp Down Hoedown”. We also received an interactive clinic with Mr. Doug Droste, director of the Ball State University Symphony and the Muncie Symphony Orchestra.

Our Spring Fundraiser with Century Resources begins on Wednesday February 18th. From now until March 4th, place your orders for plants, flowers, and chocolate with your favorite orchestra student here at Hebron High School. Funds raised will support our orchestra trip to Salt Lake City, and our spring awards banquet.

HEBRON STRING JAM! OCTOBER 9TH

Students, faculty…do you play guitar, banjo or mandolin? Come and be a part of Hebron’s first ever acoustic STRING JAM! The session will be held at the Hebron Orchestra Fall Concert on October 9th. Stop by the orchestra room to pick up the music as soon as possible. There will be a practice session after school on Thursday October 2nd. Dust off those instruments… see you soon!
